    On June 7, 2007, the draft CA/Browser Forum’s Guidelines for the Issuance and Management of Extended Validation Certificates Version 1.0 passed unanimously pursuant to Ballot 1.
    The Certification Authority Browser Forum (CA/Browser Forum) is a voluntary gathering of Certificate Issuers and suppliers of Internet browser software and other applications that use certificates (Certificate Consumers).
